The model

Human first.
Then performance.

EF Health applies the Executive Frame™ model to people living with disorders of gut-brain interaction. It addresses the psychological layer that sits alongside biomedical care — the regulatory, cognitive, and motivational barriers that limit treatment engagement and quality of life.

Developed by Dr Sarah Anticich, Clinical and Industrial Organisational Psychologist, EF Health is a structured, evidence-based delivery system built specifically for the gut-brain experience.

The program operates through the C³ Loop — Centre, Clarify, Choose — grounded in Emotional Intelligence, Executive Functioning, and Self-Determination Theory.

Stability — Emotional Intelligence
Regulation, recovery, and reducing the physiological stress that amplifies gut symptoms.
Clarity — Executive Functioning
Organising thinking, managing complexity, and reducing the cognitive burden of chronic illness.
Agency — Self-Determination
Restoring ownership, rebuilding confidence, and reconnecting action to values.
Context Load
Understanding the environmental and systems pressure that shapes what is actually sustainable.

For referring clinicians

Built for clinical integration

EF Health complements, not replaces, biomedical and gastroenterological care. Every referral is structured, tracked, and reported back to the treating team.

The Smart Referral Form captures the clinical picture in full and routes directly into the MacMurray Clinic DGBI program. Shared care, progress updates, and discharge summaries are available for all referring clinicians.
